Rising Bun Bakery Christchurch opened its first store in the South City Mall, 555 Colombo Street, Christchurch on Saturday December 3rd 2011.
Conveniently situated at the entrance to the Warehouse, you’ll be able to grab all your baked product needs after some bargain shopping, or just drop in to satisfy your desire for a fresh coffee, tea, milkshake and a nourishing range of sandwiches, salad rolls, biscuits, buns and more!
The Rising Bun is the only place in the South City Mall where you can get the famous Hillyers of Lincoln pies.

Apart from our traditionally baking range our specialties are Ceylon teas and fine Sri Lankan Cuisine. We look forward to you dropping by to experience to treat your taste buds to some unique & tasty flavours. We even sell a high quality, but very affordable range of 22ct gold gilt plated Ceylon teapots & Mlesna Ceylon Teas, that are great to bring out when guests are visiting or as unique gifts for loved ones.
